Stainless Steel Braided Cables & Lines
Changing your stock lines to stainless steel braided can be one of
the best and least expensive up grades you can do for your Bike.
Braided lines do not expand like oem rubber lines, giving you
better braking. More info. on braided lines toward the bottom of
this page and on the Brakes page.
Now on the other hand changing the speedo and throttle cables
will not make you go any faster, but does look damn good. Thats
why they put them on those $60k choppers.
We carry all the SS Braided throttle cables for your Vmax, no
matter what carbs you have. The speedo cable is made to replace
the stock Vmax cable, not any other speedo set-up you may have.

Cables all have chrome fittings and UV resistant clear armor coating to
preserve the beautiful SS braid and protect the paint on your bike.
Speedo and EFI are single cable. Carb throttle cables come as a set.
Carb throttle prices are for the push and pull set.
Galfer Lines
Galfer’s steel braided brake & clutch lines are made of PTFE 62 DuPont-
teflon, around the inner Teflon there are 16 strands of steel braided cable
(most companies only use 12) that allows for almost 0 expansion effect when
applying pressure to the lever.
All Galfer lines are coated with an UV resistant protective coat, protecting the
line from the weather and the bike from scratches. This coat is available in
clear and a variety of colors (click thumb nail on left, to enlarge and see
colors up close)
All Galfer kits come complete with banjo bolts and washers for easy
installation. Banjo bolts should never be torqued over 12 to 15 ft\lbs.
Customs lengths and colors may be ordered. We stock clear coated cables
only. Please allow one week if you order custom.

list your bike and we will fill in the part #s We obviously can not keep all lines, for all
bikes, in inventory at all times. We do however, order a least 2x per week from Galfer,
