The Wide Band Commander is a tuner’s best
friend. It provides a complete picture for proper
air-to-fuel ratio analysis. Unlike many “Air/Fuel
Systems” on the market that use inferior narrow
band technology, this unit has the capability to
read from 10.1:1 to 18.1:1 using a Bosch 5 wire
LSU4 wideband sensor. This is by far the most
complete kit available on the market today.
Once installed, the Wide Band Commander
provides a mounted AFR display gauge with a
built in warning light, as well as data recording
which can be retrieved and analyzed using the
supplied software package.
Kit includes the following:
Wide Band Commander Module. The central brain for analyzing your air-to-fuel ratio. Wiring harness
includes connectors for the Multi-Function cable, Power cable, RPM Connector and Gauge Connector. A
USB Port provides an instant, no-hassle way to connect the module to a computer.
270 Degree Sweep 2 1/16" Electric AFR Gauge With Built-in Warning Light. Choose between the Black
Face/Silver Bezel and White Face/Black Bezel gauges.
Bosch 5-Wire LSU4 Wide Band Sensor. This sensor gives the Wide Band Commander the capability to read
from 10.1:1 to 18.1:1. NOTE – When running the sensor in leaded fuel applications (race gas), the service
life of the sensor will be lowered.
Wide Band 02 Sensor Wiring Harness. This harness comes with a clear and concise schematic for hard
wiring to the Wide Band Commander module.
Multi-Function Cable. This cable supplies third party data acquisition output, TPS input, and recording
capabilities.
Power Cable. Once a connection is made to the bikes power source, this cable plugs directly into the wiring
harness of the Wide Band Commander.
USB Cable. The USB connection provides quick and efficient data transfer from the Wide Band Commander
module to a computer.
Sensor Bung and Plug. The bung (weld boss) must be welded to the exhaust system and the O2 Sensor
threads into the bung. Location suggestions are detailed in the Installation Guide. If the sensor will not be
powered or in use, remove it and install the plug into the bung.
Gauge mounting hardware with bulb covers. Allows a customized look for your mounted gauge.
Wide Band Commander Software. The software package requires a Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP computer.

The P.C. is a fuel injection and ignition timing
(on some models) adjustment unit that plugs
"inline" with the bikes' stock ECU. The PC uses
original equipment style connectors so that no
splicing or cutting of the harness is required.
Most installations take less than 15 minutes,
some as little as 5 minutes. Changes are made
to the bikes fuel and ignition curves via the
PC's onboard microprocessor. Using this
technology we are able to offer a large area of
adjustment without making any permanent
changes to the bikes' ECU (electronic control
unit). Removing the PC returns the bike to its
previous stock condition.
The Power Commander can be ordered
preprogrammed with a your choice of several
settings, based on the modifications to your
bike. The unit also comes complete with
software and cable link that allows you to
change between different maps or make
adjustments to a map file.
