Lightcon's Twin System Wheel (TWS) was especially developed
for customers who wanted to ride the lightest of the light and look
good doing it. This particularly light casting/forging hybrid
technology makes extremely thin walls of approximately 2 mm
possible. Generally speaking the wheel consists of two halves
which are welded at the central axis in a vacuum with an electron
beam. Wow high-tech, beam me up Scottie. The implemented
aluminum-magnesium alloy and the complex manufacturing
procedure, makes TSW 3 Wheels a very light and well designed
rim. These rims have been tested in grueling motorcycle races
and Pennsilvania pot hole country.
